and visited the 9/11 Memorial (which also has its own gift shop). I was actually kinda surprised they had a gift shop...it seems a bit macabre and uncaring at the same time. I don't understand why anyone (other than those that perpetrated the crime) would want to profit from the tragedy. I get that's how most museum's make money but this isn't your typical museum. Also, they accept donations too, which I thought kinda odd.
