Check this out
Random Thoughts' faux-schitzo writing style actually seemed intentional in some ways if you analyzed it over time. His frequently, seemingly random, divergences from the thread topic often changed to topics referring to organizational malfeasance and political struggle in large ideological or religious organizations. I think his posts were full of dog whistles for others using DU as an untraceable communication medium - hiding in plain site so to speak. A lot of secretive groups do this on the internet.
DU is a perfect site for this kind of cloak and dagger shit. One can get their post count up high with hundreds of short disingenuous contributions to obscure forums on DU and then burst on the scene with your agenda and a high enough post count not to be challenged.
A lot of RT's posts didn't make much sense unless you slipped them into a context where they actually could make some sense.
Also, in several of his posts, he responded to challenges by suggesting that perhaps his posts are for certain readers out there who are able to understand him. So there's that.
I miss Random Thoughts. He was funny and optimistic and I always enjoyed his seeming nonsense like a brain teaser - to make order out of chaos and meaning out of word salad.
I hope he's ok. Whatever was going on there, I'm pretty sure he was one of the good guys.
May he receive his beer and travel money that, as has been proven, is due him.

I only wish I'd had more direct interactions with the guy. He was one of a kind and then some.

I loved the cadence of 5 visual jokes in a row, every night. Must have taken some doing.

And, let's face it, we all had little crushes on her whether we were gay or straight, male or female

There were comments about her not being in good health, but I really don't know.
