They have so much shit that they can cover things with that no normal person can uncover the truth.
For a brief shining moment the press was independent and could dig some of it out....but that was co opted long ago...and should any one arise to do it they will swiftly be absorbed by the system
But you are right...what we know for sure is that something has gone on and is going on...what we don't know is how and why.
