(10,825 posts)The trial was a foregone conclusion. I already had a very good idea of what happened on Jan. 6th. I did not need the moment-to-moment drama and theater. (I'm not saying the trial wasn't necessary for a full accounting of what happened. It was incredibly important it be done. I'm just saying I personally didn't stand to benefit from experiencing it).
I'm focused on the Biden administration. What is he doing, what's coming next, what needs to be done to repair what Trump has smashed, cracked, or broken.
I don't want to talk about that man any more. I'll keep apprised of any criminal cases involving him. I'll support full accountability and hang him around the neck of the Republican party at will.
I just don't feel the need to talk about him on the daily. The boil is lanced. I don't want to constantly pick at the scab. I want to know how to bandage it.
