The VA scandal is another example of the failure of "big government"? [View all]

That's what George Will stated on FOX News with Chris Wallace this morning. Along with AMTRAK and the USPS, he said.

Of course, we never heard a solution to the problem with healthcare for our veterans.

Is it possible to fix it without the help of "big government"? I seriously doubt it. Are we going to fix it with the "free market"? How many deaths and how long will veterans be waiting without any government involvement?

It is problems such as the ones we have with healthcare for veterans that we need "government". Without government, it would be much, much worse.

Perhaps it is time for Democrats and Republicans to work together to fix this problem, rather than trying to vilify the President, whichever Party, and attempting to score political points?

People like George Will are full of crap.
