I have never even considered whether he could buy a gun because the thought of him buying a gun is so absurd, there is no way in hell he would ever even try to buy a gun. He is frightened of guns, you know jack shit about him or our family. I may not know every last detail of his life, but he is my brother and I have known him my entire life. I would guess you probably don't know every last detail of your family's database records either, but knowing them personally is a lot more important than knowing what is stored in a database. It is not like our family has tried to hide anything about him, but we don't treat him like a criminal and pull up background checks on him either.

Don't even pretend to claim you support my brother in any way, you have very clearly shown you are are judgmental against him. You are a bigot against mentally ill people.
