Trotta: Black news figures covering Martin can’t talk about their past

Fox News contributor Liz Trotta displayed her disgust Saturday afternoon at specific black anchors and reporters, claiming they are being bias in their coverage of the Trayvon Martin shooting by talking about their own experiences.

In a conversation with Fox News anchor Gregg Jarrett, Trotta was not pleased with New York Times columnist Charles Blow’s aggressive questioning towards Joe Oliver, the friend of George Zimmerman. Trotta also criticized NBC anchors Lester Holt and Tamron Hall, calling them “bias” for “telling their experiences as a black person.”

“Why do you involve your black reporters and anchors in this kind of framework that can only hurt their credibility?” Trotta sniped. “That was really bad I think Gregg.”

Trotta proceeded to also slammed Al Sharpton and MSNBC President Phil Griffin for Sharpton’s coverage of the incident.
