(37,364 posts)the way the actions of these two are perceived? I disagree. I agree that the domestic overreach exposure is important, but I also am very much aware that we were having those discussion on DU a decade ago so it was not new. I draw the line at the international intrigue that the trio of Assange, Greenwald, and Snowden appear to be engaged in. Not a one of us out here can claim to know what they have in hand and what they have divulged and to whom. There is room to suspect that some of this intrigue has caused harm and that their motives are unclear. I do not understand the insistence that everyone absolutely embrace these characters without reservation. People are capable of holding more than one thought at a time and making judgments based upon them. Now, I'm off to my dentist appointment.
