As a black woman it pissed me off to have him have his people compare his situation to being a runaway slave, it is false and disrespectful. The struggles my ancestors lived were life or death situation and they had no ownership over themselves, they were raped, their children sold, and this little punk wants to pretend like his getting on a plane, eating peanuts and sammiches, is anything like the underground railroad makes me want to spit in his face.
Then the MLK comparison.
Are they series!1! MLK stayed his ass at home and fought everyday in the struggle for civil rights leading to jail, and death. Snowden isn't fit to lick the boots of my ancestors with his phony martyrdom or compare himself to MLK. I can't stand when people try to co-opt something that has nothing to do with them and make false comparisons.
