all this kinda stuff is not unlike a call to not criticize or condemn racists, etc, in our ranks -- a call for the enabling of silence.

Nobody sets out to divide anyone or anything, it happens as a result of things beyond the control of those doing so.

Furthermore, there's nothing mutually exclusive about being an alleged "ODS-sufferer", etc, who does the criticizing and condemning and otherwise satisfying your "hero" criteria.

And besides, it was the "purists" around here and elsewhere that put those doing so on an "enemies" list going back well before the last election, and all of these efforts to project the guilt for the "dividing" onto those who are and have simply stuck to the things that historically has made a lefty a lefty is hilarious and disgusting, and nothing more than the makings of a self-fulfilling prophecy given the denial of being heard (under penalty of villification) it represents to so many.

If dem enthusiasm remains dampened and results in needless losses this Nov, you'll have no one to blame but yourselves, because you appear to think that the best time to try to hold the pols feet to the fire is after they already have the security of having gained office, as opposed to making that achievement conditional upon at least some rhetoric indicating they are responsive to the act of holding their feet to the proverbial fire.
