In reply to the discussion: Al Gore: Why We Fired Keith Olbermann [View all]jwirr
(39,215 posts)45. I think that is where it is at also. There have been many absenses. We were told
it was because of sickness but we also heard that KO was not happy with many of the aspects of his Current TV gig. So what to believe is a good question. I will miss him but I also like Spitzer and am glad that he has been given a chance to rehab his own reputation. I will continue to watch Current TV for two reasons - I want as many progressive newscasters as possible on the airways and because I respect Al Gore. In all I watch as many of these shows as I can - Al Sharpton, TYTs, Spitzer (now), Rachel, Larry O and Big Ed. I also tape Jennifer Grandholm, Melissa Harris-Perry and Chris Hayes so I can watch them later.

Keith is clearly a pill to work with as echoed by many of his former colleagues.

I'm shocked that Keith Olbermann is difficult to work with. He always seems so mellow and laid-back.

I don't get it - the title of this piece doesn't correspond to its content at all.

They're not Joel Hyatt's strong suits, either, Amerigo. Hyatt is a co-signer of Gore's letter.
