6. There are good things in the bill it would be a shame to lose

I don't want the bill to be killed. I'm not advocating for a repeal of what we have, just some acknowledgement that what we have doesn't take us where we want to be, nor does it even lead the way. While improving many things, it also entrenches old problems and introduces new difficulties that a simple expansion of Medicare, for example, would avoid.
