You don't know what you're talking about. There are several ways to reschedule. Congress is one of them, and the quickest. The other would be through Holder, but, according to the wording of the CSA, this would require hearings and referrals to federal orgs like the FDA, etc.

Congress has legislation, written last year, that could be resurrected. It's sitting in Republican legislator Sensenbrenner's office.

I'm not pretending the President's hands are tied. I have never said that here, so please don't put words in my mouth that I didn't say.

I'm just tired of people who can't appreciate those within the political process using this process to create change. I've also said, repeatedly, that if Congress refuses to do its job, I would hope the Obama administration would take action on this issue before leaving office - to decriminalize.

If you want to argue about Obama - go somewhere else, please. I'm not interested in making this an argument about Obama. I'm interested in asking Congress to do the work for which they were elected - which is to represent the will of the American voter, who overwhelmingly approves of the use of medical marijuana upon a doctor's recommendation.
