Why driverless cars are inevitable: Texting. [View all]

Texting is becoming the dominant form of human communication. People cannot walk down the street, work out at the gym, eat dinner at a restaurant without texting. I spent 11 days on a jury, and the woman who sat next to me could not go more than 10 minutes without texting. Even more telling is that for a of jobs, being in constant contact through texts and emails is required. If go more than 2 hours without checking my BB, I get upwards of 75 emails that I have to read.

Driving a car without the ability to text is not going to work.
