There have been numerous child ER admissions because the candy looks just like OTC candy. There is staff at the stores telling people how to ingest the edibles based on their experience. If you are a regular user you can ingest far more marijuana than Maureen Dowd.

There is no real protocol on how to instruct people. I know there was legislation passed but not certain what it was all targeted to. There was talk of reducing the amount of oil one can posses. An ounce of oil is not similar to possessing an ounce of dry. I live here in Colorado and I know for sure there is supposed to be a change in what the candy/edibles look like or is packaged to try and stop child ODs. The rest I'm not certain if it passed or is being proposed.

Not everyone responds to pot the same way. I never had fun smoking pot. Never. And I smoked it every time someone had it and it was never much different. I'm wired up differently, I guess. Always paranoid. And the paranoia varied. I could be mildly paranoid or I'd be freakishly paranoid. I can't even imagine getting a concentrated dose like Maureen Dowd ate and being prone to a paranoid reaction
