They would have done well to leave out the flirt and would have made the status quo character point to something that didn't make him appear correct. That's what rubs me wrong about it the most (aside from the flirting-for-agreement) -- it's that, from a business perspective, having loud and annoying sound effects in your presentation is plainly a bad idea. It validates status quo guy's existence, and I'm afraid that's how it will play to the vast majority of those who watch it.
They're going to see this commercial as:
White, rude (but competent) business man's legitimate criticism of horrible idea is derailed by incompetent black woman who flirts with desperate nerd.
