Before we bought our house last October - I made my husband (owns a home near Rutgers with several apartments in it) move in with me in an 'our apartment' because I've been to that rodeo before . . i.e. living in a man's house when there is wealth disparity at the personal level! 
It was very interesting to see how the high number of recent immigrants interacted with each other - in Bridgewater NJ.
I'd like to see a poll about how recent immigrants from India feel about living next door to recent immigrants that practice Islam. Some eye opening stuff at the pool last summer.
Or - how black Africans feel about living next door to black Americans that descend from slave. That's a real eye opener.
Or here's one - how folks from Poland feel about living next door to Chinese, Japanase, South Korean Immigrants.
Me? I'm a Heinz 57 so I just like observing it all.
