8. A lot of deaths are unnecessary.

Why is so much energy expended over THESE unnecessary deaths? Why so much angst over something that is so unlikely to happen it's statistically impossible.

Why? Fear. Fear that your child/ wife/ husband/ loved one will be killed. A fear perpetuated by a media that makes celebrities out of the shooters and dramatizes random events.
