(57,760 posts)The more moaning I read about how awful a hypothetical Clinton nominee is, the more I am likely to support her in the primaries.
My general approach is to not worry about candidates until there is an actual election. (Yeah, I know I'm nutty that way). I then look at their qualifications, watch the debates, and make a decision. However, given the derangement over a fantasy presidential candidate, I think I just might decide to support her now. The temper tantrums about how they'll be mad if the perfect candidate isn't handed to them on a silver platter are beyond irritating. If they want a certain candidate or type of candidate, they should damn well work for it rather than sitting around and moaning how they won't vote Democrat if they don't get their way. That tells me they aren't really Democrats anyway, and given the fact a number take reactionary positions on a host of issues, I'm not surprised they would further along the GOP's political prospects.
