what destroyed Cantor. He spent his money on luxurious travel and food expenses, and his time traveling the country on behalf of other Repub candidates. Almost no money, staff, or time was targeted at his home district. He probably believed his win was assured, so he spent his time making other Repubs indebted to him so he could run for Speaker of the House.
