It happens, but it is not quite as bad as it is in the Republican Party.

I predict it will become more of an issue after '14 and '16 especially if we make gains in those elections. Certainly something to keep an eye on. I find myself remembering the WSJ article about Democratic leadership worrying about the rise in populism.
