.....that people at the top of the surveillance state were in defiance of The Constitution, and were lying to the American people.

Do you not understand the meaning of the word "radicalized"?

The best citizens of this country are/were those who were radicalized by their experiences, who stood up, who CHANGED, who acted differently than before.

It is the radicals who stand between us and tyranny.

He changed because he was RADICALIZED.
