13. Still clinging to that "mistake" idea

It wasn't a "mistake." The invasion of Iraq was a coolly calculated, cynical scheme from start to whenever it petered out for the Republican war-mongers. The wealthy enjoyed a great break on their taxes, a lot of poor people went over to Iraq to kill people, be killed themselves, and those that survived returned with a graveyard full of nightmarish memories to last them the rest of their lives. Additionally, Halliburton came back from the brink of bankruptcy and guaranteed Dick Cheney's pension for the remainder of his unnatural life, and Blackwater got to train a whole bunch of mercenaries to deploy across the globe at our expense.

Mistake? Bullshit. This was a cash grab on the corpses of Americans and Iraqis.
