She refused to close down a private business that could never turn a dollar without financial assistance from our parents, which of course, disrupted the family harmony because the cost went into the thousands each year. And when that well ran dry because of the medical needs of aging parents, she resorted to the inevitable: bankruptcy.

Lesson learned, "God is punishing me for not listening."
