People gripe about Democrats not explaining government well enough, yet I just heard President Obama's Press Secretary use the term Entitlements. That is a term used by the radical right and the selfish to disparage and profit from the efforts of hard-working Americans.

For example, heard a Texas woman (I think she was a local politician, maybe a mayor?) talking about the aftermath of the tornado this morning, and she pointed out how lives were saved and the public safety impact of the weather data provided by satellites "developed by NASA". What a great opportunity - having grown up through an era when about the best warning you had was looking at the sky, the fact that AMERICAN INVESTMENT IN EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY saved lives today.

Talk about seizing an opportunity. Anyone else hear her? Who was that? sharp woman...

Anyway, Carney, say it like you are on the side of the Democrats or find another job.
