He IS called the Rude Pundit, ffs.

This place has become something of a vortex of suck, in my opinion--- largely due to the self-appointed kindergarten teacher/hall monitor vibe. Frankly, it's become a bit lame, especially since there's really no functional difference between the paroxysms of outrage that convulse DU currently over this word or that blogger or the other picture of topless protesters/people in swimwear, etc... and the virtually identical threads that took place on the same topics 2, 3, 5, 9 years ago.

DU fought over the rude pundit back in ...what, 2007? 2005? I'm fairly sure it was basically the same fight, with the same arguments, almost certainly some of the same players, even.... although maybe some of us under different names.

People talking to themselves about how profoundly offended they are, all the time, 24-7.. I just don't find that terribly interesting.
