(114,561 posts)111. Well, I'm sure they'd just show me the way to hell
if I ever had occasion to let fly in Texas. It really does seem to be more in the southeast where people are still fussy about language. Nobody else gives a, well, fuck.
And my mother used it from time to time when the occasion called for it. She always expressed utter contempt for "people who wouldn't say 'shit' if they had a mouthful of it."

I don't mind the word "fuck" at all except when it's used to refer to sex.
