I lobbied Costco to bring a store to our area of the state. There used to be only one in Des Moines, which was a considerable drive, and meant making an all day trip to shop there. I did this by e-mailing them at their company site periodically and my friends joined in. It took about a year and a half but I was so happy to hear the announcement that they would be building in a town nearby. That store is always busy.

If you don't have a Costco in your area, see if you can demonstrate to them that they would have customers if they located there.
