Luckily, no matter what John McCain intoned last week with fierce, deathless conviction, nobody who matters will remember at all that what he's saying this week (with the same fierce, deathless conviction) is diametrically opposite to what he said then. It's an amazing form of media amnesia that keeps bringing John McCain on to bloviate about his latest, deepest-held feelings.
