(176 posts)I absolutely stand by what I said and I mean what I said.
The person eating too much bacon may end up dead because he is unhealthy. I'm still alive because I don't eat too much bacon. And your argument about me covering the cost of his healthcare is bunk. He may have health insurance. If he doesn't, and I have to incur the cost of some of his medical bills, I don't care. You see, I'm still alive. With the whole gun situation, I'm either severely maimed or dead. I rather be intact and alive rather than maimed for life or dead.
I really do hope there are no unresponsive drivers out there. However, in the case of the irresponsible driver, again this comparison is apples to oranges. I believe we all know that driving has the potential to be dangerous. It is also a necessary means of transportation to get me from point A to point B, so really not something that I can avoid doing. However, it is not necessary for anyone outside of law enforcement to carry loaded weapons outside of their home. The only reason a non-law enforcement person carries a loaded weapon outside of their home is to bully other people.
If these gun idiots were not such big idiots, perhaps there wouldn't be so much misfortune. And if you really believe that people on here think this is funny, you go that wrong, too.
