(5,622 posts)despite the fact that the "B" for "Barack" that she claimed had been carved on her face by an "angry black man," who "attacked" her by an ATM machine in Pittsburgh, was drawn backwards. The media ran with the story of her "assault" by an "angry black man" (she claimed that the man was spewing pro-Obama statements). The story broke on Fox of course and was on CNN and on "news websites" like Drudge and of course speculation ran wild on free republic, including wild statements that this incident would decide the election for McCain(!) Of course the police were suspicious...and then Ashley Todd recanted her story.

This story about KFC and the incident that never happened is very disturbing indeed. The media runs wild with thoroughly unsupported nonsense that anyone can put out with a twitter account. The little girl is going to have quite enough to deal with as far as the pit bull attack scars and psychological aftermath is concerned; on top of that her relatives decide to use her to shake down a business for some sympathy money? Arrrrggggghhh.
