Quote from an African American friend of mine. I don't know if it came from somewhere/someone else, but I think it holds true.
If there's one thing I can't stand, it's when someone says that some group should "get over it" regarding racism, whether it be discussing slavery, Jim Crow, hostile immigration, the Japanese American internment, the Holocaust or any other number of examples of intolerance.
