In fact studies have shown making abortions 100% illegal has no affect on those rates. Women may want to avoid these clinics, but when women feel abortion is their best choice (often the only choice) they will endure the protests. In areas where abortion are illegal the woman will go to a place where it is legal OR go to an illegal abortion provider (Thus many Catholics support legal abortions to avoid the deaths do to bad illegal abortions).

As to bombings, that has NOT occurred in Massachusetts (it has occurred in the South). It also appears to be ineffective at reducing abortion rates.

Please note I was addressing the issue of the EFFECTIVENESS OF SUCH PROTESTS and calling them ineffective, for that what there are. My suggestions are example of things such protesters could demand and may even reduce the abortion rate. i.e. something effective on that issue. If they would switch to demanding such actions, they protests may even reduce the abortion rates, but protesting outside abortion clinics will have no such effect.
