So your daughter really got to vote yesterday? That is so exciting for her!

I think it's great that she got the chance to attend the rallies up there too. Being involved like that at a young age does so much to influence future activism, not to mention what a blast it is to do together. My older daughter and I participated in the March for Women's Lives in 2004. We got to fly off to DC together and spend a week there attending all these great events and meeting one amazing person after another. It was the best time! Since then she has become quite the activist.

There really hasn't been anything quite as exciting as The March to do with my younger daughter yet (I'm always looking), but we've gone to some great local Planned Parenthood events and election night parties - which she has loved!
