34. Actually, we fought our American revolution and War of 1812 in part

to make sure that Americans would be tried in American courts by American juries under the very specific rules set forth in our Constitution.

We fought, in part, to protect the rights of American citizens on the high seas. Americans have rights no matter where they are. They also have responsibilities. So, the solution to Alwalaki was to take him alive. We have the military power to do that. Why didn't we?
