The media always fucks it up when the decision is handed down.

These rulings are hundreds of pages long, full of nuance, qualifications, legalistic cadences, and a level of detail not suited for the instant gratification culture of today's media. Some bubblehead on the cable channels or some correspondent on the networks with tousled hair and a $3000 suit is not going to get it right. Remember how most of the networks declared the individual mandate unconstitutional as NFIB v. Sebelius was coming down the pipeline. Then they actually read the ruling. In short Supreme Court decisions are for grownups, which has nothing to do with the media.
