22. I've done that

It seems the only thing they 'get' is when you are an asshole back (most of the time they are shocked, just SHOCKED that a wimpy treehugging liberal has the guts to do that) or if you laugh your ass off at them. I do that more just because it's more satisfying to make them feel like the small minded insignificant people they are. And it doesn't get my blood pressure overly high.

what I would've said to laugh at them would be something like, "you think *I* am wasting taxpayers dollars? hahahahahaha! Boy have they got YOU snowed! Do you know how much money corporations get from the government? They could put the whole population of the US in a group home! They've got you thinking *I'm* the one taking your money and you bought right into it, just like the corporations want you to believe. Hahaha, they're treating you like you're an idiot and you just lap it up like one. Maybe they aren't so wrong after all? hahaha, you are as dumb as they think you are!"

Of course I always say those things in a light hearted 'joking' manner so if they get all 'offended' I just say, "Oh, shucks, I was just joking! I didn't know you were so sensitive! I guess you do have a bleeding heart after all!"

Can I just say my right wing relatives don't talk politics with me anymore?
