40. It makes me kind of wonder about a science fiction alternative history.

Mercury and Venus are burning cauldrons of intense heat now. Did we do that then move to Earth and forget the technology we used to get here? It would make for a good sci fi movie. It's not true of course, but to the outside observer (there MUST be intelligent life elsewhere in the universe), it might appear that way once they see the shape we will be leaving Earth in.
