24. Saw a TV cooking show the other day, Surveillance Fascist Restaurant

or something like that....

I hate the trend in reality shows where some panel of abusive experts scathingly critiques quivering underlings, but this one had a whole new twist.

It's a guy who goes around reforming poorly performing restaurants (a la Gordon Ramsey) by working with the owner to secretly surveil the employees with hidden cameras before humiliating and blasting them with the incriminating results.

We are being indoctrinated into fascist, punitive mindsets, where owners must be abusive and the employees must be watched, trained, and controlled. Gone is any sense that a business can or should be a common effort, where the boss and the employees work together to give the best possible service and benefit everyone.
