An open letter to the people who hate Obama more than they love America

23. I don't think you know what progressive means.

He has helped the gay community, women and other minorities more than any other POTUS. How can you be blind to his progressive decisions over the years...they are big moves to the left.

I was once kinda like you, in his first term I watched BP walk all over the South and was not to impressed. After another term and many years later, I am impressed with his continuing help to minorities and parts of the nation hurt worst by the GOP. I am also amazed he can work without the help from half of Congress and a SCOTUS that is far more corporate suit then the law allows.

He's done a lot of good, far more than any other POTUS in contemporary times.

Check out who controls everything, if you want to argue that then yes...we live in a nation controlled by big corporations - and still the POTUS has pushed forward a social progressive agenda. Denied the war hawks in both parties a war with Russia and seems to understand species survival is important.

He is a very good & powerful leader and that drives a certain type CRAZY. They have an irrational hatred for the man and lack the ability to have a constructive argument.
