Snopes is usually pretty good at this. I don't have the original Costco customer response but "the word is" appears from this to be true.
Now if only Hobby Lobby could see some business results that would cause them to reconsider their position. Oh wait - religious zealots and logic are never in the same room together.

By the end of the day on 8 July 2014, Costco began adding a paragraph to its standard customer response indicating it had reversed its position and would be re-stocking D'Souza's America: Imagine a World Without Her:
After we made the return, a documentary was released about the book. Since then there has been heightened interest by our membership base and brisk sales at locations still in stock. Therefore, we have made the decision to reorder the book.
