When will people ever learn? When corporate media appears to take a liberal approach, it's not an ideology. It's a business strategy. It's only because it's beneficial to their bottom line. And they will only take it so far. They aren't going to undercut their own pursuit of profit. It's really little more than titillation.
The U.S.-based news source that comes closest to trustworthy in this country is Pacifica. That's because it's truly listener supported. (And even Pacifica should be followed with a healthy skepticism.) Don't even get me started on National rePublican Radio. The general rule that Woodward and Bernstein followed (even though the former's motivations were suspect) is still the same: Follow the money.
Watch the commercials or listen to the ads -- er, I mean -- "underwriter credits." They'll tell you what you need to know about a network's priorities.
