There are certain subjects that are so depressing to me that I just can't involve myself with them. It's not that they are not important to me; my mental well-being just won't allow it.

Then there are issues that I just get tired of hearing about and don't feel like fighting about them any more. I took a few weeks off from DU last month because I just got sick of one particular group that does its best to drag anyone and everyone into a fight. Since I would never deal with these people in real life, I don't feel the obligation to share my online world with them either.
