3. Gates is certainly less of an asshole than Adelson...

he's done some good things. I know some MS employees (in particular, a relative) and they're pretty satisfied with their treatment. Yeah, MS pushes the visa issue, but I have other fish to fry beyond their behaviors. And Gates is not really an active memeber of the MS board IIRC. He 'retired.' He still retains lots of voting stock, of course, so he has influence, but I don't believe he's really the driver any more.
