Here's the thing. If someone believed the earth was 6,000 years old, they are already to stubborn to believe geologic evidence etc. about the age of the earth. So why would they believe that these are proportionally spaced? They wouldn't - they would think the whole thing is just made up. I mean, I get the humor, and I guess I'm thinking too concretely, but if they already refuse to believe the timeline this sort of depiction would be just dismissed.
