Damn right, it's righteous. When a respected member of this forum gets threatened with rape, yeah, I expect a certain amount of "righteous rage."

And what is your problem with this misogynist being exposed for all to see? And how does this thread in any way preclude Admins "putting it out there in their own editorial" etc.? In fact, the consternation shown by (most of) the people responding to this thread might a) encourage the admins to do just that and b) provide "a teachable moment" to other misogynist would-be rapists among us, who might otherwise be tempted to cyber-stalk and cyber-bully women they consider too outspoken for their taste.

Sometimes righteous rage is exactly what's needed. This, it seems to me, is precisely one of those times.
