In reply to the discussion: Who shot down the Malaysian airliner? [View all]ozone_man
(4,825 posts)164. A poll as to who is responsible
opens up all kinds of speculation. Why did this flight fly into dangerous territory, when previous flights stayed south? Seems like a valid question. I have no position on Tesla, seems like a very expensive car to achieve what it does, but that has nothing to do with this OP.
I enjoyed listening to Rachael Maddow tonight relating the story of how the U.S. shot down an Iranian jetliner, ~1988 I believe. First it was an F-14, then maybe they were wrong about that, then it was a mistake.. These stories take a while to get to reality, and then do we ever know for sure?

I am accusing you of being a cheerleader for the regime of Vladimir Putin and his interests.

I haven't really had a side to root for in this conflict, but it looks pretty bad for the rebels.

Or, as is being claimed, the separatists used a Ukrainian missile system they confiscated.

Excluding a conspiracy by the Ukrainian government to hack his account, that's pretty definitive.

I guess you gave given up trying to blame Ukraine for trying to shoot down Putins plane.

I like that when they posted the OP they used an image which wasn't even Putin's plane.
