13. What exactly is there to investigate, here?

a) the plane was on a routine flight path regularly used by other airlines and flying outside of restricted airspace.
b) the plane was, based on the evidence we have, brought down by a rocket fired by separatist rebels.

Culpability is clear here, and it doesn't lie with Ukraine. This sounds like the same sort of conspiracist mindset as "FDR ordered the suppression of intelligence and allowed the Japanese to bomb Pearl Harbor".
