For years, I've been arguing that Israel is a 21st Century Apartheid--and it's being maintained by people who should know better! Jews have been oppressed, restricted, called sub-human, locked away, tortured and killed just for who they are. That's the worst shame in this: there's no empathy.

OTOH: I don't know about you, but family members have stopped talking to me, still believing the Zionist crap and certain that Israelis are the victims here. So it's wonderful to see other like-minded MOT's who get it.

I recall some Congress Critter a few years ago (a gentile, but his name escapes me) talking about the divide between liberal and conservative Jews. Obvious he thought us Libs were an abomination--but in reality, we are the ones who manifest the cultural ideas in society. Critical thinking being the first! Anyone with half a brain understands that humans need each other, we need to make peace and work out compromises. You can leave God out of the equation and still realize how essential those concepts are!
