6. I watched some coverage of the cortege making its way to the forensic center & the public response.

Thousands of Dutch lined the roadways and the overpasses en route. Some holding flowers, some taking pictures, some applauding the return, some singing, some standing silently. It was really very moving. Simple and heartfelt.
